In December 2004, Phoenix Arts commissioned a number of artists to produce digital art works on the theme of Moving. As part of this project Phoenix Arts collaborated with Leicester City Libraries Literature Development to support a commission that explored the potential for crossover between literature and the digital arts. The intention was that the two artist selected would produce a work that responded to the word and concept of 'moving'. Furthermore, it was intended that the two artists would respond to each other's art-forms to create a single piece of work that fused their respective art forms.
'Slippage' is the outcome from this commission.
