Covert
Operation
I remember
the impossibility
of trying to lie still
listening to your heart,
the approaching footsteps.
I remember
the impossibility
you were going away,
the razor wire feeling
of no second chance.
I remember
the impossibility
and the track of your hips.
How we lay undetected
until caught by the dawn.
