What kind of sounds do giraffes make?

Do they purr? Do they whirr
As they fluff up their fur?
Do they yap? Do they snap?
As they go tip-e-tap?
Do they bark for a lark
As they jog in the park?
What kind of sounds do giraffes make?

Do they roar? Do they caw?
Do they let out a snore?
Do they cry? Do they sigh
With a tear in their eye?
Do they cackle, or crackle
as they hitch-up their tackle?
What kind of sounds do giraffes make?

Do they choke as they smoke
and frog out a croak?
Or sneeze as they wheeze
and whistle the breeze?
Do they hoot? Do they poot?
or toot on a flute?
What kind of sounds do giraffes make?

Do they quack? Do they yack
As they look for a snack?
Do they squalk as they walk
Thru the streets of New Yawk?
Or boople, then whoople
And shout ‘Mott the Hoople’

Do they howl? Do they yowl
Or make only growls?
Do they ping? Do they sing
Like birds on the wing?
Do they cheep? Do they peep
And fart in their sleep?
Or do they mew, and then moo?
I just haven’t clue……!
