I flipped my

Pancake

Up in the air

And it flew right off
I don’t know where!

It flew right off…

Did you see it fly?
As it shot right up
into the sky?

Pancake

For my tea
I wonder where it now can be!

Did it go? Do you know?
off old London Town
To land in the Thames with a plopping kinda sound?

Did it fly, by the by
Off to Azerbaijan
After flipping off the handle of mum’s frying pan?

Did it flip, on a trip
To sweet Ouagadougou
To land on some dancers who were trying on a Tutu

Did it scoot, did it shoot
To fall, heaven sent
As a splat in the lap of a chap from Kent?

Did it zip, extra quick
to land in Walla-walla
To baffle expert teams of scientific scholars?

Did it go, I don’t know
To rainy Tipperary?
To make a mighty meal for a lassie, name of Mary!

No my

Was stuck on Grandpa’s head.
(Ya should’ve heard the words
that the old man said!)

Flipping you was great!
But I’m feeling so much better now
You’ve landed on my plate!
