What do we do with our poorly pets?
We take them to the friendly vets.
The friendly vets will swiftly tell
what to do to make them well.

For if your rabbit has lost his hop
or if your tortoise just won’t stop
then the friendly vets will swiftly tell
what to do to make them well.

If your budgie no longer tweets
and tries to fly by flapping its feet
then the friendly vets will swiftly tell
what to do to make them well.

If your fish forgets to swim
or if your glow-worm’s going dim
then the friendly vets will swiftly tell
what to do to make them well.

If you’ve got a guin-less pig
or even a mouse who wears a wig
then the friendly vets will swiftly tell
what to do to make them well.

And if your snake has lost his hiss,
and if your gerbil thinks she’s Swiss
then the friendly vets will swiftly tell
what to do to make them well.

If your cat is feeling sad
or if your dog’s gone barking mad
then the friendly vets will swiftly tell
what to do to make them well.

But if it’s you that’s not so good! If
you don’t feel the way you should
then mum should ring the doctor’s phone
and leave the friendly vets alone.
