From Concrete to Kinetic?

The digital media have a number of technical characteristics which facilitate the making of works with quite different formal characteristics from page-mediated poetry. One of the many differences that I and others have explored in new work is the role played by movement and time in poetry - a 'poetics' that Robert Kendall has described as kinetic poetry.
